## Filming in Greece: the cash rebate (rules checked October 2026)

- Rate: 40% of eligible production costs spent in Greece.
- Ceiling: Eligible costs count up to 80% of the total production cost.
- Cap: Up to €8 million per work, or €10 million for strategic projects of national importance.
- Foreign producers: Must contract a company established in Greece that acts as executive producer.
- When to apply: Online, no later than 10 days before the shoot starts.
- Not eligible: Commercials, sport coverage, news, entertainment and talk shows, filmed performances such as concerts, and corporate or event promotion.
- Minimum spend in Greece: €200,000 for a fiction feature or TV film, €60,000 for a documentary, €45,000 for a short, €120,000 per episode for a fiction mini-series (up to 16 episodes), €35,000 per episode for a fiction series and €25,000 per episode for a documentary series.
- Reel Good can act as the Greek executive producer for films, series and documentaries, and handles the application
