Hellenic Coast Guard: Posidonia 2024
A film on the people of the Hellenic Coast Guard, made for its presence at Posidonia 2024 in Athens.
The brief
The Coast Guard and the Ministry of Maritime Affairs wanted a film for Posidonia 2024 that shows the dedication and skill of its officers in demanding conditions: maritime safety, security and humanitarian missions.
The shoot
We worked inside live operations, with access to vessels, aircraft and facilities, filming in busy ports, on remote islands and out at sea. That meant following strict security protocols and planning around weather and sea conditions nobody could control.
The result
The cut moves between action, from search and rescue to anti-smuggling patrols, and quieter moments with the crews. It presented the Coast Guard’s work to the exhibition’s international audience.
